About us - the platform that finds you a lawyer and is not a law firm itself
Coalition Legal started from one specific problem: in Georgia a lawyer is found either on a friend's recommendation or through the first advertisement online - and neither route tells you who this person is, whether they hold an active status, what they charge and how they work. We gather the answers to those three questions on one page and check them before publishing.
This page describes what the platform is and is not, how verification works, who answers the phone, where the money comes from and how we write the texts you read on the site. If something is not written here - one e-mail to info@coalition.ge and we will answer.

What "verified" means on this site
The badge does not appear automatically. Every profile was checked by a person, and the date of the check is shown on the profile.
The register
The certificate number, name and specialisation are checked in the public register of the Georgian Bar Association. The status must be active, with no disciplinary sanction.
Identity
The lawyer confirms by video call or in person that the profile is theirs. The photo shows the same person.
Consent
The lawyer agrees in writing to publication, to receiving reviews and to the ranking methodology. Without consent there is no profile - we rate no one against their will.
Re-check
The register status is re-checked every 90 days. A suspension removes the profile the same day.
Who answers when you call
The number 568 330 318 is answered by a coordinator - not a machine, not a call centre and not a lawyer. The coordinator's job is three questions: what happened, where you are and in which language you want to talk. With those three answers they pick two or three lawyers from the directory, pass your matter to them and within 15 minutes tell you who will contact you and when.
The coordinator sees the ranking but is not bound by it: if one lawyer works in your city in your language, that is who they will recommend, even if that lawyer is not first on the list. If the matter is not a legal one at all - they will tell you that too, and the call ends there, without being redirected.
The first contact is free for the client and creates no obligation. The relationship with the lawyer, the fee and the agreement are between you and the lawyer - the platform is not a party to that relationship.
Where the revenue comes from and why the client does not pay
- Visibility plans
- A lawyer buys a visibility plan for their profile - the "featured" mark, a place at the top of the directory. This is stated openly on the card and does not affect the ranking score.
- Passing on matters
- A lawyer pays a fixed sum for a matter passed on from the platform, if they take it. The sum does not increase the lawyer's fee - it is their marketing cost, not yours.
- What we do not sell
- A place in the ranking, reviews, a "recommendation" on a call. The coordinator's advice does not depend on commission - it is paid, or not paid, the same way for every matter.
- For the client
- Search, requesting a consultation, the coordinator's call, the calculators and the guides are free and will stay free. The only thing a client pays is the lawyer's fee, directly to the lawyer.
How the text you read is written and checked
- The practice area, city and guide texts are written by the editorial team from interviews with practising lawyers; a verified lawyer in the relevant field checks the deadlines, figures and procedure.
- Every article carries the date of publication and the last update. When the law changes the text is updated and the date changes - there is no silent editing.
- Calculator rates are stored in the database with the source article and the checker's status; an unconfirmed rate is openly marked as such on the page.
- If you find an error, write to info@coalition.ge: a material error is corrected within 3 working days, and if it concerned a deadline or a figure, a correction note appears on the page.
- Advertising or sponsored text is not published on the site. A lawyer's profile biography is written by the lawyer and is their responsibility - the platform checks only the factual fields.

Questions about the platform
Was Coalition Legal a different organisation on this domain before?
This domain was used in the past by another organisation with which we have nothing in common - neither people, nor activity, nor liability. Old links, where any survive, return a 410 status and are not redirected anywhere.
Can I contact a lawyer directly, without the coordinator?
Yes - if the lawyer has published a direct number on their profile, it is shown there. The coordinator is an alternative, not a barrier: they are useful when you do not know which practice area is yours or which lawyer fits you.
What happens to my data when I fill in the form?
Your name, contact details and description of the matter are passed to the coordinator and to the lawyer who fits the matter - to no one else. We keep them for as long as it takes to resolve the matter and receive a review. The full description is on the privacy page.
The lawyer the platform recommended did a poor job. Whom do I tell?
The coordinator - by phone or e-mail. We contact the lawyer, check the facts and, if a breach is confirmed, it is reflected in the profile's ranking and, where necessary, in exclusion. A fee dispute is between you and the lawyer, but we help with the negotiation.
