For lawyers - a client who already knows what they need
A client who arrives through the platform does not look for a lawyer the way they do on social media: they have already read the practice area page, often used a calculator, and framed the matter with the coordinator. They come to you with a specific question, a city and an idea of the budget - and that is half of the first consultation.
This page describes whom we accept, how verification proceeds, what a free profile includes and what the paid plans add, how matters are passed on and what rules apply to response time, reviews and conduct. Prices are in the dashboard and on request - they are not on the page, so that the text does not go stale when they change.

Profile requirements - five conditions that apply to every lawyer equally
- Membership of the Georgian Bar Association with active status and a certificate number. A legal consultant without Bar membership registers with the "legal consultant" status, without any mention of court representation.
- No disciplinary sanction in the last 3 years, or the sanction period has expired.
- One primary and at most three additional practice areas. An "all areas" profile is not published - the ranking's focus criterion measures this.
- The city where you physically receive clients and, optionally, a remote-work mark. The city is checked at verification.
- Consent to receiving reviews, to the ranking methodology and to the rules of conduct - in writing, at registration.
Five steps from application to publication
The typical timeline is 3-5 working days. The profile is not visible on the site before verification.
Application
An e-mail to info@coalition.ge or a call to 568 330 318: name, certificate number, city, practice areas, languages. The coordinator replies within a day and sends dashboard access.
Completing the profile
A biography in three languages (Georgian required; English and Russian if you work in those languages), typical cases, consultation fee, education, photo. A biography under 200 characters keeps the profile out of the index - that is the transparency minimum.
Verification
The register check, identity confirmation by video call, signing the consent. The date of the check and the checker are stored in the database and shown on the profile.
Publication
The profile appears in the directory, on the practice area and city pages, and in the ranking with a score. Your own URL under your name - /en/advokatebi/your-name/ - in all three languages.
The first matter
The coordinator sends you a matter that arrived in your area and city, in the dashboard and by SMS. You accept or decline; the response time counts in the ranking.
The free profile and three plans - what each adds
A verified profile, participation in the ranking and reviews are the same in every plan and free. A plan buys visibility, not a score.
How matters are passed on and what is measured
- What a matter is
- A client enquiry that the coordinator has checked by phone and assigned to your area and city: name, contact, description of the matter, deadlines. Spam and "I was just asking" calls do not count as matters and are not charged.
- Accepting and declining
- You reply in the dashboard or by SMS: accept / decline. Declining carries no penalty - a conflict of interest, workload, a mismatch of area are legitimate reasons. After accepting, you contact the client.
- Response time
- Minutes from hand-over to your first substantive reply - 15 points in the ranking. Within an hour - the maximum. An automatic "received" does not count as a reply. Below three matters, a neutral score.
- Payment
- A fixed sum per accepted matter, on a monthly invoice. A matter where the client does not respond or the contact is wrong is disputed from the dashboard within 48 hours and is not charged.
- Exclusivity
- One matter is sent at the same time to two or three lawyers in the same city and area - the client chooses. A plan gives priority where the fit is equal, not exclusivity.
What the client sees on your profile and what you cannot change
Only a client whose matter is recorded on the platform, and who receives a link after the case starts or ends, can leave a review. You cannot delete or hide a review, but you can write a public reply to any of them - the reply appears under the review. An unfair review is appealed from the dashboard, considered within 5 working days, and the result is sent to both sides.
The ranking score is calculated on five criteria and shown in the dashboard with the raw data: which reviews count, which matters enter the response time, which field is empty. The dashboard tells you which single action will bring you the most points - usually completing the biography or stating the fee. The methodology is public and changes by version; every lawyer is notified before a change.
One thing no plan can buy: a place in the ranking. In the code the plan field is not passed to the function that calculates the score. That is our main promise to the client, and it is exactly what makes the platform valuable for the lawyer too - a client who trusts the ranking trusts you.
Rules of conduct and what leads to removal of a profile
- The fee quoted to a client must match the consultation fee stated on the profile. Changing the fee after the consultation has begun is a ground for complaint.
- Passing a client received from the platform to another lawyer without consent is not allowed; a legitimate referral goes through the coordinator.
- Asking a client for a review directly, bypassing the link, or offering a discount in exchange for a review - the review score is reset to zero.
- Suspension or termination of status in the register - automatic removal of the profile the same day; on reinstatement the profile and the score return.
- A substantiated client complaint about communication not explained within 10 days - the response-time score drops to the minimum; on repetition - suspension of the profile.
- Hiding the profile at any time at your request - the score and history are kept, and on return you take the same place.
Questions from lawyers
Can a firm have one profile for several lawyers?
No - a profile is personal, with a certificate and an identity. The firm name is a profile field and links all of the firm's lawyers; the client chooses a specific person. A firm page is a separate format that is opened on request.
I work in a region with almost no competitors. Do I need a plan?
Probably not - in regional cities a free verified profile is often the only one in the area and receives every matter. A plan is worth it when there are more than three lawyers in your city and area and visibility decides the competition.
I work with foreign clients. How do they find me?
Through the language field: on the English and Russian versions the client searches with the language filter, and a profile is indexed only with a biography written in that language. An English biography is the only way an English-speaking client will see you at all.
Can I leave the profile at any time?
Yes - one button in the dashboard hides the profile, active matters are completed, the invoice is closed. The data is kept for 30 days in case you return, then deleted - except reviews, which remain in anonymised form in the statistics.
Registration starts with one e-mail
Name, certificate number, city and practice areas - to info@coalition.ge or by calling 568 330 318. The coordinator replies within one working day and opens your dashboard.
