This is not a "top 10 best lawyers" article that an author writes once and never touches again. It is a live ranking: every verified profile receives a score out of 100 from the same formula, the list is ordered by that score, and it is recalculated whenever a new review, a reply to a lead or a profile update appears. What moves a lawyer up is their data, not our wishes or theirs.
The score is made of five parts, each with a weight published in advance, and all five are shown separately on every row. So you see not only "who is first" but "why": one lawyer scores high on experience, another on reviews, a third replies fastest. For your case the third may be the right choice even if they sit fifth on the list.

Only a lawyer whose certificate we have checked ourselves in the Georgian Bar Association register, and who has agreed to publish a profile, enters the ranking. Verification is done by hand, and an empty list is not padded with invented names.
Until the list fills, you can have a lawyer matched by phone: within 15 minutes the coordinator will recommend a specialist by the same criteria described on this page.

How the 100 points are distributed and what moves a lawyer up
The weights do not change for individual lawyers and do not change quietly: a change means a new methodology version and a written record. Below, the maximum score for each criterion and what raises it.
The ranking, the "featured" plan and the directory order - three different things
A lawyer appears in three different places on the site, each with its own logic. This table exists so that you never confuse what each one is telling you.
When a lawyer disappears from the ranking
The list not only moves lawyers up but also drops them - automatically, or by hand after a check.
- The status in the Bar Association register becomes "suspended" or "terminated" - the profile and the score are removed the same day, without a call.
- A review arrives from a person whose enquiry is not recorded on the platform - the review is not published, and on a repeat the lawyer's review score is reset to zero.
- The certificate number in the profile belongs to another person or the name does not match the register - the profile never reaches publication.
- A substantiated client complaint about communication or fees that the lawyer has not explained within 10 days - the response-time score drops to the minimum until the next recalculation.
- The lawyer has asked to hide the profile - the score is kept, the profile is not shown, and on return it takes the same place.
Questions about the ranking
Can a lawyer buy a place in the ranking?
No. A paid plan buys only card visibility and the "featured" mark, which is stated openly on the card. The plan field does not take part in the score formula at all - and that is so at the level of the code, not of an agreement.
Why is a well-known lawyer who is considered strong not on the list?
Only lawyers who have registered a profile on the platform and passed verification enter the ranking. The absence of a well-known lawyer is not a weakness of theirs - they are simply not here yet. We rate no one without their consent.
Does first place mean this lawyer will win my case?
No. The score measures experience, clients' experience, transparency, focus and speed - not the odds of a particular case. Those depend on evidence, deadlines and facts, which a lawyer can only assess at a consultation.
How often is the score calculated?
On every page load - the score is not stored but calculated from current data. A new review or a reply to a lead is reflected at once. The date above shows the last profile change, not an "editorial update".
What does "response time - no data yet" mean?
The lawyer has received fewer than three matters from the platform, and calculating an average time would not be fair. In that case they receive a neutral 7 points out of 15 - neither a reward nor a penalty - and the note is shown openly in the list.
Can a lawyer appeal their score?
Yes - from the lawyer's dashboard or by e-mail, naming the specific criterion and the reason. Typical grounds: a review that is not linked to a real case, or a response time recorded because of a technical fault. Review takes 5 working days and the result is sent to both sides.
