The General Assembly of the Coalition for an Independent and Transparent Judiciary Elects the New Steering Committee
On June 17th, the General Assembly of the Coalition for an Independent and Transparent Judiciary was organized to elect the new Steering Committee for a two-year term.
During the event, the current Chair, Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association, reviewed the achievements and challenges of the past two years. The Coalition members also discussed ways to move forward and enhance their efforts.
During the event a new Steering Committee was elected in the following composition:
- Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association
- Social Justice Center
- Human Rights Center
- Georgian Democratic Initiative
- Rights Georgia
- Transparency International Georgia
- Civil Society Foundation
- Institute for Development of Freedom of Information
- International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy
These organizations will lead the Coalition's initiatives, ensuring a continued focus on enhancing judicial transparency and independence in Georgia.
